Rocky is a watercolor portrait from last year. Bluebonnets are Texas state flowers. There are many different wildflowers each year, but bluebonnets are the most popular. Each spring people take pictures of each other, their children, and pets among the bluebonnets. As you see, Rocky is no exception.
Small cat portraits
Small cat portraits are fun and fairly fast. Oliver Orange and Kimberly Calico are imagined cats. Chickpea and Motka are real cats who live in Scotland.
Because of last year's drought the water of Lake Travis is much lower than usual. The whole foreground which is exposed now is generally under water. I tried to catch some of the landscape with palette knife, brush, and oil paint.
